Meet the class of 2012
Even though the year has just begun, the 2012 Democratic Convention in San Diego is just a couple of weeks away. Wow! It's going to be that kind of year!
Before we go into Convention and Dinner information... if you have not yet made a few phone calls to help turn Stanislaus County BLUE... please, please, please be a part of this Blue Wave victory! Even just a few minutes will make a huge difference in this all-vote-by-mail election which may be decided by a very few votes. You'll find more information below.
This convention, TBRC will co-host a Saturday night Candidate Showcase Hospitality Suite, highlighting Red-to-Blue Candidates from around the state, in place of the usual Red-to-Blue Grassroots dinner. We are especially pleased to co-host this event with Dr. Ami Bera (running in the newly created 7th Congressional District). Get the details below.
Our Annual Red to Blue Grassroots Dinner is tentatively scheduled for early May in Northern California and we will be sending our details following Convention.
This is going to be an exciting year. Thank you for being a vital part of our successes.
Warmly,
four waters, Chair
Garrad Marsh - Going For the Blue! Election Day is Tuesday, February 7
Stanislaus County should be a Democratic save haven, but instead, its a sea of red. Garrad Marsh, running for Modesto City Mayor, is a first step in taking back this county.
Although election day is Tuesday, February 7, this is an ALL-VOTE-BY-MAIL election and by Tuesday all of the ballots need to be in. Even if you only make a few calls, you may be the margin of victory!
If you have a few minutes, please email: Take Back Stanislaus County. Help chase the Democratic Vote-by-Mail ballots, and let's get this thing done!
Garrad Marsh
Garrad (initially elected to the Modesto City Council in '03 and re-elected in '07), with his wife, owns the successful McHenry Bowl. Their business has donated more than $200,000 to local charities, and offers employees company-matched 401K options and profit sharing. Garrad served seven years on a Navy submarine. He's cultivated strong local support, knows how to run successful local campaigns and has the support of both the North Valley and the Stanislaus & Tuolumne Central Labor Federations. This all adds up to a solid candidate in a winnable district, which should be represented by Democrats. For more information: Garrad Marsh for Mayor
